Dance Mount Isa celebrated the culmination of an incredible year with its second annual concert last month.

The event, held at the Mount Isa Civic Centre on November 30, brought together 300 audience members who gathered to cheer on performers ranging from as young as three to adult dancers, showcasing the vibrancy and inclusivity that Dance Mount Isa is known for.

The concert was a lively and fun-filled production designed to be enjoyed by everyone – performers, their families, and the audience alike.

From the youngest dancers delighting the crowd with their first steps on stage to the adult performers bringing energy and flair, the event highlighted the joy and growth of each student over the past year.

Principal Jenny Boyle expressed her pride in the performers.

“This concert was a celebration of our students’ achievements, and it’s wonderful to see how much they’ve grown in confidence and skill,” she said.

“The smiles on stage and in the audience remind us why we do what we do.”

With the 2024 dance year coming to a close, Dance Mount Isa is already looking ahead. Bookings for 2025 are now open.
